    Water Rescue - Helicopter Winch

    A variation to our Man Overboard manikin, designed (with the help of Bristow Helicopters UK) to aid the lifting of a patient from the water avoiding the effects of hydrostatic squeeze associated with a straight lift. 

    Shorter legs and a slightly different weight distribution allow the manikin to be hoisted in the 'W' position.

    Water Rescue - Body Recovery (Sinking)

    A pre-established protocol is essential for victim retrieval - the body recovery manikin was predominately designed to aid Police dive teams train to recover bodies from any inland waters or under ice.

    The manikin will slowly sink to the bottom maintaining a slightly negative buoyancy of about 10kg, which is very similar to a real human.

    A unique solution to training on a bariatric patient - without the weight! Not strictly true, as eventually it does get very heavy! Simply slip the suit over a standard LifeTec dummy, then fill it with water. 

    Starting with a standard 30kg dummy, add up to 150kg in weight in about 20 minutes. The water is distributed throughout the suit and is controlled so it doesn't slump.

The Confined Space Training Manikin

An extremely tough 50kg manikin specifically designed for the Confined Space industry: Wind Turbines, Telecommunications, Stage and Theatre, Scaffolding, Police & Military, Maritime, Factories & Industry, Fire & Rescue, Cleaning and Maintenance, Construction, Pole Top and Tower Rescues.

This dummy can be disassembled into 6 sections to allow easy transportation and assembly in difficult to reach areas.

Effective, realistic training will help to ensure compliance with the Confined Space Regulations by reducing and controlling the risks involved with Confined Space - our manikins can help achieve this.


Features & Benefits

  • No single part weighs more than 25kg, (total assembled weight is 50kg).
  • Anatomically correct weight distribution gives the 'feel' of an unconscious person - perfect for pole top or tower rescues.

  • Strong Polypropylene webbing loop to the back allows the manikin to be easily hauled into position prior to training.

  • The Polyester is waterproof, making it suitable for training in wet or dry conditions as it can be easily cleaned and dried.
  • Soft body joints eliminate the risk of pinch welts and bruising, a common injury when using plastic bodied manikins.
